BLASTING

Blast finishing applies a wide range of surface finishes to component parts. The most common applications for blasting are to roughen a surface to prepare it for painting; remove or blend surface irregularities; add a specific cosmetic finish; or remove surface contamination.

Our blasting is performed utilizing air-propelled glass media in specialized blasting cabinets. We stock glass media in a variety of shapes and sizes. Our equipment includes manual blasting cabinets, as shown above, and a tumble blasting system for automated finishing of smaller components.
